A Walk-Thru is like a GPS for your website or software in that it takes users via an online process step-by-step all the way from the beginning of a process to their desired end. When creating a Walk-Thru, first add all the mandatory steps to guide the user through the procedure. 1. Open the WalkMe Editor. 4. Give your Walk-Thru a click and Name Continue. 1. Click the Add Step button.
After pressing Add Step, the WalkMe Editor will minimize and you’ll be in Capture Mode. Capture Mode allows you to choose an element for your step. An element is a discrete site element that WalkMe can identify and interact with, for example, links, images, images, and other pieces of website code symbolized on the display screen visually.
Click with an element highlighted with a blue box to choose it. Step Note: This take note shows up in the Editor and is noticeable to other WalkMe Builders (not to your person). Triggers: They are actions that switch on the next step in your Walk-Thru. The most frequent triggers will be the Click and Type causes.
