During the summer, my skin looks like an essential oil slick by the finish of the day. How do I keep my skin looking clean and fresh, without sheen when it’s hot outside? Humidity and High temperature make your essential oil and perspiration glands work overtime, which means you need to take extra steps during the summer to keep up the dewy shine. First, start by upping your exfoliation frequency to keep the pores free from build up.

THIS IS CRUCIAL. Rather than 2-3 times per week, use Polish everyday. Microdermabrasion or a Power Peel will also clear away excess natural oils and sebum that cause pores and skin to clog up and appearance greasy. The next thing is to let your cleaned-out pores breathe recently. When you can, just wear makeup for a few hours a day or at night when you’re heading out, and before putting it on, prep your skin with an oil absorber.

Things in the summer tend to be more casual in any case, so give your beauty schedule a downgrade and go au naturel. If you wear makeup all day at work, clean it off as soon as you get home so that your pores get some good more time to breathe. Just because you’re lightening up on makeup, doesn’t imply you should neglect sunscreen. If you’re heading to wear basis, mix it with a light sunscreen, it can help it last and reduce stand out much longer. Finally, a light chemical peel is a good way to begin the summer.

Jeeze Louise (sorry Louise) it was HOT this time! Well in truth the elements was a complete story of two halves and to be honest it sits in the center of my highs and lows. The first couple of days we are it rained and was a little overcast there. We were totally lulled into a false sense of security ‘cos sunlight well and truly got his hat on after around day 3. Don’t get me wrong, it was beautiful but honestly my perspiration experienced perspiration.

It was crazy hot, the type of hot where you can’t even go through the pavements, your eyebrows sweat and getting in your car is a fire risk back. I’ve been often in-may and June and it’s never felt that oppressive. Actually we saw more than one person getting oxygen it was that relentless.

It meant we struggled to invest long at all in the parks before it became unbearable and finished up doing much more with the evenings during the period. However, as me mum said ‘thats Florida for you the unpredictable beast she actually is. Having been a DVC member for over 12 years now think about my enthusiasm to find that there is to be always a free-Moonlight Magic event on when we were there!

I also really wanted to go and it included free food, which started at 5pm. So I figured if they don’t last that’s totally fine at least we got some free grub. Everything went well on the day, we visited Blizzard Beach in the morning and tired them both out so they both had epic 3-hr naps on the afternoon before we went to moonlight magic. Initially it was just like any other trip to Epcot until the sun transpired plus they rolled in an overly intricate DJ monster vehicle that setup shop outside the fountain of countries. It was around 10pm that I realized this event really wasn’t for kids.
